Branches of HopeBuild |
HopeBUILD’s MissionHopeBUILD empowers underserved communities to lead healthy lifestyles and enrich neighborhoods through increased access to fresh foods, urban produce gardens, and nutrition education. Click on one of our Branches to the left for more information. HopeBUILD’s VisionHopeBUILD believes all people should have the resources to make healthy decisions about food and act on them. In that spirit, we create environments where fresh produce is attainable and culturally acceptable. HopeBUILD offers a holistic set of tools for individuals to navigate through their current food system and create strategies for success in maintaining healthy lifestyles. HopeBUILD - Making A Difference! This is what we've been up to in 2009: building gardens; teaching kids how to grow food; educating students about nutrition and healthy lifestyles; and distributing fresh produce via the North City Farmers' Market. |
