HopeBUILD empowers underserved communities to lead healthy lifestyles and enrich neighborhoods through increased access to fresh foods, urban produce gardens, and nutrition education.

HopeBUILD’s Vision

HopeBUILD believes all people should have the resources to make healthy decisions about food and act on them. In that spirit, we create environments where fresh produce is attainable and culturally acceptable. HopeBUILD offers a holistic set of tools for individuals to navigate through their current food system and create strategies for success in maintaining healthy lifestyles.

HopeBUILD - Making A Difference!

This is what we've been up to in 2009: building gardens; teaching kids how to grow food; educating students about nutrition and healthy lifestyles; and distributing fresh produce via the North City Farmers' Market.

ATTN: HopeBUILDers!

We need your help! As HopeBUILD continues to GROW fresh produce, our organizational capacity is also growing. We currently need 3 computers with a minimum of 512 RAM for our growing office staff.

Laptops are welcome too. We do need to be specific, we cannot use old, slow computers, as our need is for a functional office space.

HopeBUILD 2nd Annual Harvest Luncheon & Silent Auction

What a blessing it was to see all the "Smiling Faces" that just seemed to really brighten this years 2nd Annual Harvest Luncheon. Special THANKS to all of the people who made such a fine event go so smoothly, particularly those who participated in our Silent Auction.
